Akhangaranshifer Joint Stock Company is located in the industrial area of ​​Ahangaran town of Tashkent region, in 50 km from Tashkent.

The factory was built in 1963 and in the same year started production, and now it is one of the leading companies for production of building materials in Uzbekistan.

Currently, the company produces 175,800 thousands of conventional slate plates and 200 km of conventional asbestos-cement pipes in average per annum. In 1994, the company was transformed into open joint-stock company.

The company employs about 1,000 workers, engineers and technicians.

The company established the anticipatory uninterrupted foreign raw materials supply system: chrysotile asbestos, technical cloths, non-ferrous metal meshes, equipment and spare parts.

The company produces the following types of building materials under the state standards and all products are certified:

• 8-wave slate, GOST 30430-84
• flat slate, GOST 18124-95
• asbestos-cement pipe, diameter 180-400mm GOST 539-80
• cinder blocks GOST 61-3384

For over forty years, the products of our company is known in the Central Asian market of building materials. During this time they gained a deserved estimation and recognition.

Since 1 January 2005, ceramic roof tile shop has been built and put into operation within the company area, with capacity 250000 tiles per annum, using only local materials.

At the present, the company has 13 main and auxiliary shops including the own railway line and capital construction department.
