Employees of JSC "Quartz" became winners at the XI Open All-Russian Martial Arts Games

From 20 to 30 September 2018 in the city of Anapa and from 4 to 8 October in the city of Sochi, Krasnodar Territory, the XI open All-Russian Martial Arts Games were held. About 900 athletes from 20 countries and about 40 regions of Russia took part in these adult competitions. At the invitation of the All-Russian Union of Public Associations "Russian Union of Martial Arts" and the Federation of "Universal Battle" of the Fergana region of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the leadership of Quartz AG sent its employees Muzaffar Tokhtasinov - car mechanics, Rustam Abduraimov - brigadier of the security service and Oibek Nurmatov - trainer for hand-to-hand fight for participation in this championship, since the games allow you to test your beginner athletes and identify the most promising of them, and to form with ovkoy national teams to take part in national and international competitions.
Participation in the Open All-Russian Martial Arts Games is a necessary impetus for the development of mass sports, and raising a healthy, socially active generation in our country. Recall that the first open All-Russian Martial Arts Games took place in 2008. Competitions in universal combat took place in various directions of this type of struggle. This year, 22 kinds of sports accredited by the Ministry of Sports of Russia were represented at the Games, such as: Kyokushinay, VBE (Viet in tao), taekwondo (ITF), wrestling (grappling), Thai boxing, kickboxing, VBE (sieve-ryu), VBE (setokan), kendo, capoeira, wushu, aikido, sumo, jiu-jitsu, hand-to-hand combat, taekwondo (GTP), sambo, belt wrestling, all-style karate, mas-wrestling, army hand-to-hand combat, complex single combat.
In the city of Anapa, from 20 to 25 September, our athletes took part in hand-to-hand fighting and kickboxing. According to the results of the competition, Oybek Nurmatov in the weight category of 94 kg took the 1st place in both wrestling, and Muzaffar Tokhtasinov and Rustam Abduraimov won 1 kickboxing and 2 places in hand-to-hand combat in their weight categories. Then, from 28 to 30 September, beach sports were held. Our athletes took part in grappling and complex martial arts. In total, they participated in up to 160 athletes. According to the results of the competition, Oybek Nurmatov took the 1st place, and Muzaffar Tokhtasinov and Rustam Abduraimov won 2 places in both types of wrestling in their weight categories. From 4 to 8 October, the city of Sochi hosted the EVRA-ASIA competition “UNIFIED EURASIAN CUP - OLYMPIC SOCHI” -2018 in the universal type of battle for the Eurasian Cup.
About 800 athletes took part in them. According to the results of the competition, our athletes Oybek Nurmatov took 1st place in kickboxing and hand-to-hand fighting, and Muzaffar Tokhtasinov and Rustam Abduraimov in their weight categories won 1 place in kickboxing and 2 places in hand-to-hand combat. According to the results of the competitions, our athletes won the Eurasia Universal Battle Cup, silver and gold medals, and also received licenses to participate in the ITALY World Championship "UNIFIED WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS", which will be held in Russia from October 30 to November 4 of the current year.
