It is impossible to imagine a modern financial system without a capital market. The stock market in turn is of great importance in the capital market. The impact of the development of the stock market on the country's economy is that it allows to solve current social and economic problems, such as attracting capital from a wide range of investors, including foreign investors in various sectors of the economy, their diversification, financing important projects for the country, production development and the creation of new jobs.

The development of the stock market also has a significant impact on the real incomes of economic entities and the population. In particular, companies can finance their innovative projects, while other market participants can buy and sell securities, as well as get the opportunity to make a profit in the form of dividends and interest. At present, the total number of joint-stock companies in the Fergana region is 43 units. The total number of shares issued by joint-stock companies in the region is 60097.733 million pieces, the volume of issue is 693.12 billion soums.

During the first 9 months of 2018, the trade turnover of the Republican Stock Exchange "Tashkent" amounted to 329.8 billion soums, the number of transactions - 7793. The trading volume of securities of joint-stock companies of the region amounted to 35.27 billion soums. The number of transactions amounted to 4462. According to this indicator, the Fergana region ranks second in the republic after Tashkent. Exchange trades continued to grow compared to the same period last year. We will not be mistaken if we point out the reason for this reform, expressed in new approaches to the development of the sphere in recent times. It would not be a mistake to recognize the issuance of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the organization of open placement of shares on the stock exchange” No. 268 dated 05/10/2017, as an important milestone in this area. ) - sale of shares of Quartz JSC increased the interest of the population in the stock market and became one of the most important steps in the development of the stock market.

Currently, since the demand for shares of Quartz JSC is very high, citizens who initially purchased shares receive income in the form of dividends, as well as by selling shares at a higher price. Also, the aforementioned decree provides for the sale of shares of Kokand Mechanical Plant JSC by the SPO method (secondary public offering), and at present, preparations are underway for the final stage of organizing a public sale of shares. By the way, recently Kokand Mechanical Plant JSC increased its authorized capital from 1,677.339 million UZS to 20128.068 million UZS due to the capitalization of a part of retained earnings from previous years. The capitalization of retained earnings allowed the company's shareholders to earn an additional 11 (!) Shares for each of their shares with a nominal value of 900 soums.

Also this year, Kokand Alcohol JSC and Besharyk Pakhta Tozalash JSC provided an opportunity for shareholders to make a profit by providing additional shares by increasing the authorized capital of enterprises, respectively, by capitalizing part of the retained earnings of previous years. In addition, at the general meetings held in joint-stock companies located in the region at the end of 2017, 66.7 billion soums were allocated for dividends. As a leader in this regard, Quartz JSC, from the net profit of 88.23 billion UZS, sent 44.11 billion UZS to the payment of dividends. Above, we mentioned only some numbers as examples. Such positive indicators can be found in many regions of our republic. Summarizing, recently, if enterprises prefer more bank loans to finance business, then ordinary citizens prefer real estate, precious metals and bank deposits as objects for investment. In view of this, it would be advisable to draw attention to the fact that in developed countries, securities are an effective means of raising capital for entrepreneurial activities, as well as an effective means of extracting profits.
