135,475 Tons of Cement Sold on the Exchange Last Week

During the past week, from February 9 to 15, a total of 407,645.0 tons of cement were listed for sale across all trading platforms of JSC “Uzbekistan Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.” Of this volume, 135,475.0 tons, or 33.2%, were sold. The average daily sales volume amounted to 27,095.0 tons.
During the reviewed period, the average daily price of cement decreased from UZS 601,000 to UZS 587,800 per ton. On average, 66 buyers participated in the trading sessions each day.
In total, 43,014 transactions were concluded on the exchange, which is 10.6% higher compared to the previous week. Of these, 41.1% were conducted through exchange trading, while the remaining 58.9% were carried out via electronic trading systems.
As a result of electronic auctions held within the public procurement system, budgetary and corporate customers saved approximately UZS 115.6 billion.
