33.2 Thousand Tons of Cement Sold on the Exchange

From December 15 to 21, a total of 300,448.0 tons of cement was offered for trading on the “Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Uzbekistan” JSC, of which 33,260.0 tons were sold, accounting for 11.1% of the total volume. The average daily sales volume amounted to 6,652.0 tons.
During the period, the average daily prices for cement decreased from 661.7 thousand UZS per ton to 651.3 thousand UZS per ton. On average, 43 buyers participated in the trades each day.
For reference, a total of 48,897 transactions were concluded across all trading platforms of the Exchange, which is 33.1% higher compared to the previous week. Of these, 25.9% were through the exchange trading, while the remaining 74.1% were executed via electronic commerce platforms.
As a result of electronic trading through the government procurement systems, approximately 190.2 billion UZS was saved for the budget and corporate clients.
