A decline in cement prices has been observed in exchange trading

During the past week, namely from January 12 to 18, a total of 308,575 tons of cement were offered at exchange trading, of which 59,327.0 tons, or 19.2%, were sold. The average daily sales volume amounted to 11,865.0 tons.

During the period under review, the average daily cement prices decreased from 592.0 thousand soums to 562.7 thousand soums per ton. On average, 46 buyers participated in the trading each day.

For reference, a total of 27,859 transactions were concluded across all trading platforms of JSC “Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange,” which is 65.1% higher compared to the previous week. Of these, 51.8% were conducted through exchange trading, while the remaining 48.2% took place via electronic commerce trading systems.

As a result of electronic auctions conducted within public procurement systems, budgetary and corporate customers saved approximately 93.1 billion soums.
