New projects of Quartz JSC

In the Quartz joint-stock company of the city of Kuvasay in the Fergana region, together with the Chinese company Shanghai Pony technology Co. Ltd, construction began on the production of 400 tons of ground building glass per day.

As a result of this project worth $ 70.2 million, it will be possible to produce additional 22.2 million square meters of float glass per year. Most importantly, many new jobs will be created.

At an enterprise specializing in the production of glassware and glassware, special attention is paid to increasing the volume and quality of products, studying and introducing international experience and modern technologies. This, in turn, serves as an important factor in the rapid growth of economic indicators.

“In our country, the demand for building materials is increasing more and more,” says Akmal Pulatov, chairman of the board of JSC Quartz. - Building glass, automotive glass and various glass products for industry, produced at our enterprise, thanks to their quality, are in great demand in the market. Last year, the company manufactured products for almost 302 billion soums. Currently, our specialists are working to further improve production efficiency, mastering the production of globally competitive products.

In accordance with the program of the strategic development of society, a gradual replacement of production technologies with modern energy-saving equipment is carried out. In 2017, the glassware workshop was completely modernized through the launch of energy-saving lines from Italian companies Bottero and BDF industries. In order to further improve the quality of quartz sand in the workshop for the manufacture of raw materials magnetic separators were installed.

Last year, modern equipment was installed, designed to produce glass engraved with ceramic paint. As a result, for the first time in our country, it became possible to produce tempered glass with decorative patterns and products from it.

In the manufacture of glass products are important metal forms. Therefore, for the production of glass products that meet modern design requirements, the machines of the last modification were brought from the USA.

In order to launch a new line, to further improve the quality of manufactured products, certain measures are being implemented at the enterprise. As a result of such aspirations, today the demand for society’s products is growing not only in our country, but also in neighboring countries, such as Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Special attention is also paid to the implementation of a management system that meets international standards. This company was the first in our country to pass the certification of energy management according to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard. In 2017 in Paris, it won the International Star for Leadership Cup. In addition, on May 26, 2017, JSC Quartz was awarded the diploma of the laureate of the International Quality Standard award at a competition organized in Moscow by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian public organization Business Russia. At the Moscow International Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies - XXI", which was held recently in Moscow, the company was awarded the "International Recognition" award for its sustainable economic indicators and achievements in the field of production.
