On additional measures to expand export activity

The Association «O‘zsanoatqurilishmateriallari» is constantly working to provide assistance to industry enterprises to expand export activities to neighboring countries.

Preparatory work is currently underway to hold a Business Forum in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (Kabul).

In this regard, the Association «O‘zsanoatqurilishmateriallari» forms a list of companies interested in exporting products of their own production, as well as participation in the above event.

Given the significant need of the represented market for construction materials produced by enterprises of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as to expand the export potential, the Association «O‘zsanoatqurilishmateriallari» invites to joint activities.

For reference: Analysis of the import of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for 2018 shows a significant need for a number of building materials, including those produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

So, during the indicated period, construction materials were imported in the amount of over 175 million dollars , of which one can distinguish:

• cement, marble, travertine and other clays in the amount of 95.1 mln.;
• dyes, pigments, paints, varnishes and putties for 22.1 million;
• plastics and articles thereof 12.1 million;
• stone, gypsum, cement, asbestos products for 5.8 mln.;
• pottery worth 2.9 million;
• glass and products from it for 1.3 million;
• others.
