n Bulakbasinsky district of Andijan region, work has begun on the construction of a new cement plant. One of the important steps in the development of the region and the construction industry of our country is the fact that the Decree “On Measures for the Construction of a Cement Plant in the Bulakbashi District of the Andijan Region” was issued to equip the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 20, 2017.
The joint-stock company "Jo'ydam Tamir Qurilish" together with three major Chinese cement producers - "SHANGFENG", "TUNLI" and "Beijing Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd" created a joint venture "SHANGFENG-BRIDGE OF FRIENDSHIP".
The total cost of the joint venture project with Chinese investments is US $ 418.9 million, of which at the first stage from 2018 to 2020, 1.2 million tons of cement production will be launched in the second quarter, and in 2020–2023 US $ 215 million will be mastered, bringing the capacity to 2 million tons of cement per year.
The opening ceremony was attended by the governor of the Andijan region Sh. Abdurakhmanov, the director of the division of SHANGFENG company Wang Zhigang, the president of Beijing Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd, Ma Minlyang and heads of joint ventures.
