810.2 million USD worth of construction materials exported in 9 months

Today, the Association “O‘zsanoatqurilishmateriallari” held a press conference for media representatives on the topic “Analysis of the performance of the construction materials industry for the first nine months of 2025.” The event was attended by the leadership of the Association, experts, entrepreneurs, and media representatives.

According to the agenda, Chairman of the Board Ilyos Rakhimov provided detailed information about the work carried out in the industry and plans for the future. Reports of department heads were also presented.

It was noted that in 2025, the total production volume in the industry is expected to reach 52 trillion soums, exports — 1.2 billion USD, and investments — 2.4 billion USD. Within the framework of the localization program, products worth 4.4 trillion soums will be manufactured.

For reference: during January–September of this year, construction materials worth 41.5 trillion soums were produced, exports reached 810.2 million USD, and investments worth 1.705 billion USD were utilized. Within the localization program, products worth 3.3 trillion soums were produced.

In January–September 2025, the forecasted production volume in the sector was 40.1 trillion soums with an expected growth rate of 115%. In practice, production reached 41.7 trillion soums, with a growth rate of 113.5%. In particular, 17.9 million tons of cement, 30.5 million sq. m of construction glass, 37.8 million sq. m of ceramic tiles, 85 million sq. m of gypsum boards, 292 thousand tons of dry construction mixes, and 695.7 thousand units of sanitary ware were produced.

Within the framework of new investment projects, a total of 1.705 billion USD in investments were utilized. Of these, 230 projects worth 1.065 billion USD were launched, creating 8,712 new jobs.

Under the State Investment Program, projects assigned to the Association attracted 168.6 million USD in direct foreign investments and loans. By the end of 2025, it is planned to attract 195.7 million USD in direct foreign investments and loans.

During January–September of this year, 810.2 million USD worth of products were exported, fulfilling 101% of the planned target.

This figure exceeded the same period last year by 126%.

The growth in exports was achieved mainly due to increased supplies of aluminum-based construction materials, ceramic products, stone items, glass and glass products, cement and binding materials, DSP and MDF boards, as well as PVC and plastic products. As a result, exports increased by 167 million USD compared to the same period last year.

To further expand export volumes, Uzbek trade houses, showrooms, and trade warehouses were established in Baku (Azerbaijan), Dushanbe (Tajikistan), Lahore (Pakistan), Kabul and Mazar-i-Sharif (Afghanistan), Aktau (Kazakhstan), and Jalal-Abad (Kyrgyzstan).

More than 50 types of high value-added construction materials produced in Uzbekistan are showcased in these centers.

In addition, local enterprises participated in major international exhibitions and business forums, including:
