- Construction materials worth 45.7 trillion soums were produced in the Republic over 10 months

Today, at a briefing, the Head of the Press Service of the “Uzsanoatqurilishmateriallari” Association, Jamshid Shermetov, provided information on the “Work carried out in the construction materials industry over the past 10 months.”
According to him, in January–October 2025, the volume of production in the sector amounted to 45.7 trillion soums, with a growth rate of 113.5%. In particular, the following products were manufactured:
• 18.8 million tons of cement,
• 33.3 million sq. m of construction glass,
• 41 million sq. m of ceramic tiles,
• 91.8 million sq. m of gypsum plasterboards,
• 301 thousand tons of dry construction mixtures,
• 751 thousand units of sanitary ware, as well as other construction materials.
Within the framework of ongoing investment projects, 230 projects with a total value of 1 billion 065 million USD were commissioned, creating 8,712 new jobs.
In particular:
• In Yakkabog district of Kashkadarya region, “Al-Kamol Rise Group” LLC is implementing a project worth 4.7 million USD to establish a cluster for the production of door and window frames and furniture.
• In Ishtikhon district of Samarkand region, “Odil eco” LLC is implementing a 1.5 million USD project to organize cast iron processing.
Within the State Investment Program, 168.6 million USD of foreign direct investments and loans were absorbed through the projects assigned to the Association, meeting 117.6% of the planned target.
This figure is 126% higher than in the same period last year.
In January–October of this year, due to increased exports of aluminum construction materials, ceramic products, stone products, glass and glassware, cement and binding materials, DSP and MDF boards, other types of panels, as well as PVC and plastic products, exports exceeded last year’s figures by 187 million USD.
To expand export volumes, Trade Houses, showrooms, and distribution warehouses of Uzbekistan have been established in Baku (Azerbaijan), Dushanbe (Tajikistan), Lahore (Pakistan), Kabul and Mazar-i-Sharif (Afghanistan), Aktau (Kazakhstan), and Jalal-Abad (Kyrgyzstan).
In addition, the participation of domestic enterprises was ensured in a number of business forums and exhibitions, such as:
• Innoprom Central Asia–2025 (April 28–30, Tashkent),
• Russia–Islamic World: Kazan Forum 2025 (May 13–18, Kazan),
• “Made in Uzbekistan” National Products Exhibition (June 5–7, Tbilisi),
• Turkic States International Exhibition (June 10–12, Baku),
• “Made in Uzbekistan” National Products Exhibition (June 20–24, Ulaanbaatar),
• Los Angeles Build Expo (August 27–28, Los Angeles),
• Bud Expo 2025 (September 17–19, Belarus),
• Brno Expo 2025 (October 7–10, Brno),
Baku Build 2025 (October 14–16, Baku).
