Creating a "green belt" at construction materials industry enterprises is a crucial task

A "Roadmap" has been approved for the creation of "green belts" in the spring-autumn season of 2025 by large construction materials industry enterprises classified as high and medium environmental risk.

When creating "green belts," industrial enterprises with a high and medium level of environmental impact (metallurgy, energy and large construction materials enterprises) as of June 1, 2025, 1.16 million seedlings of ornamental, fruit trees and shrubs were planted on an area of 989.2 hectares, of which 1st category enterprises (cement and chrysotile-cement coatings, glass) planted 319.2 thousand seedlings on an area of 273.7 hectares, and 2nd-3rd category enterprises (lime, brick, gypsum) planted 258.9 thousand seedlings of ornamental, fruit trees and shrubs on an area of 97.5 hectares.

Enterprises within the "Uzpromstroymaterialy" association planted 145.7 thousand seedlings on an area of 88.2 hectares during the spring season.

Within the framework of the "From Minister to Worker" program, the Association's managers and employees created a park, including: In 2024, 150 ornamental seedlings were planted and a "Green Garden" was created on the territory adjacent to "Ahangarancement" JSC, located in the industrial zone of the city of Ohangaron, Tashkent region; During the spring season of 2025, 200 fruit tree seedlings were planted and "Green Belts" were created on the territory adjacent to the "Quvasoysement" joint-stock company in the city of Quvasoy, Fergana region, using funds from the "Uzpromstroymaterialy" Association.
