In 2025, it is planned to produce construction materials worth 2 trillion soums in Qashqadaryo region. In particular, during January–September of the current year, the production volume amounted to 1 trillion 521 billion soums.
In addition, over the past 9 months, construction materials worth 2.2 million USD were exported from the region. Within the framework of the localization program, products worth 356 billion soums were manufactured.

As part of investment programs, a total of 70.4 million USD is planned to be utilized in the region this year, including 31.2 million USD in foreign direct investments. In January–September, 51.0 million USD was actually utilized.
In 2025, through the expansion of existing capacities, the launch of new projects, and the introduction of energy-efficient and new types of products for export, it is planned to double the volume of construction materials production and reach 2.0 trillion soums.
In particular, in Qamashi district, the Azerbaijani JV LLC “Matanat” is implementing a project in the first stage with 20 million USD in foreign direct investment to establish gypsum production with an annual capacity of 150,000 tons. This project is scheduled to be launched by the end of this year.

Notably, in the second stage, with 30 million USD in foreign direct investment, a project for the production of gypsum boards with an annual capacity of 20 million square meters is planned for implementation in 2026.
As a result of these two projects, gypsum products and gypsum boards worth 40 million USD will be produced annually, of which 8 million USD will be exported.
In Kitob district, the Austrian company “Lasselsberger Group,” through its subsidiary “LB Minerals,” is implementing a project worth 15 million USD to produce microcalcite and dry construction mixes with an annual capacity of 250,000 tons. This project is expected to be commissioned by the end of 2025. As a result, construction materials worth 25 million USD will be produced annually, including 3 million USD for export.
