Navoi region: Production of construction materials worth 2 trillion 675 billion soums

Navoi region is world-famous for its natural resources. Almost all elements of Mendeleev’s periodic table can be found here. That is why the mining, metallurgy, oil and gas, and chemical industries of the region are developing year by year. Along with these, growth is also observed in the construction materials industry. Modern equipment and technologies are being introduced, numerous projects are being implemented, new capacities are being launched, and existing ones are being modernized. As a result, a wide range of high-quality and modern construction materials is being produced.

According to analysis, this year Navoi region plans to produce construction materials worth 2 trillion 675 billion soums. In particular, during January–July, the production volume amounted to 2 trillion 252.7 billion soums.

In addition, over the past 9 months, construction materials worth 66.971 million USD were exported from the region.

Within the framework of the localization program, it is expected to produce products worth 566.4 billion soums.

According to investment programs, the total volume of investments this year will amount to 568 million USD, of which 297 million USD are direct foreign investments. In January–September, a total of 199.6 million USD was actually utilized.

In 2024, due to capacity expansion, the launch of new projects, the introduction of energy-saving technologies, and the export of new types of products, it is planned to double the production volume of construction materials and reach 2.6 trillion soums.

In particular, in Karmana district, the Chinese company “Tiancheng Stone” JV LLC is implementing a project with an annual capacity of 1 million sq. m and 200 thousand tons of construction materials worth 80 million USD of direct foreign investment. The project is scheduled to be launched in stages during 2024–2026.

Additionally, the company “Shiji Jianfa Stone” JV LLC plans to utilize 100 million USD of direct foreign investments through the organization of granite mining and processing.
