- “Uzbek Import Fair 2025” — A New Step Toward Import Optimization and Local Content Development

Today, at the “Uzexpocentre” in Tashkent, the first international exhibition “Uzbek Import Fair 2025”, dedicated to the theme “Optimizing Imports to Increase Local Content”, has officially opened.
The event is organized in cooperation with the State Customs Committee and the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, and will run from October 7 to 9.
This large-scale exhibition aims to promote the production of import-substituting goods in Uzbekistan, strengthen mutually beneficial ties with foreign investors, and support local manufacturers.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister J. Khodjayev, heads of various ministries and agencies, representatives of international brands, distributors, investors, as well as entrepreneurs and officials of commercial banks from all regions of the country.


Within the framework of the exhibition, local producers have the opportunity to showcase their products, sign new partnership agreements, and hold negotiations on investment projects.
It is noteworthy that not only neighboring countries, but also companies from the USA, Hungary, the Republic of Korea, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Slovakia, Kuwait, and Japan—around 30 foreign companies in total—have expressed their interest in participating.This demonstrates that “Uzbek Import Fair 2025” is becoming not just a national event, but an international platform for cooperation.
The exhibition provides broad opportunities for optimizing imports, enhancing the competitiveness of domestic products, introducing new technologies, and learning from international experience.In doing so, it contributes to developing local content, reducing import volumes, and increasing the country’s export potential.



“Uzbek Import Fair 2025” is more than just an exhibition — it is the starting point for new economic relations, innovative solutions, and effective partnerships.
The event aims to further develop Uzbekistan’s industrial sectors, strengthen stable cooperation with foreign investors, and promote the “Made in Uzbekistan” brand on the global market.
