Uzbekistan–Iraq Business Circles Meet

Within the framework of the Uzbekistan–Iraq Business Forum, a construction materials industry exhibition was held at the production site of IMZO company. The event was attended by more than 150 representatives of business circles from the Republic of Iraq, along with local entrepreneurs and representatives of a number of relevant organizations.

As widely known, IMZO is one of the leading companies in the Republic in the production of aluminum profiles, modern window and door systems, as well as façade solutions. The enterprise is among the largest in terms of export potential, employing around 2,500 people. Its annual export volume reaches 20,000 square meters, while the total area of the production complex covers 16 hectares.

At the organized construction materials industry exhibition, 25 companies from the sector showcased their products. Notably, the total annual export volume of the participating companies amounts to USD 150 million. Products under the Made in Uzbekistan label — including basalt products, wallpaper, ceramic tiles, aluminum profiles, paints and coatings, and natural decorative stones — attracted great interest from the guests. During the event, comprehensive information about Uzbekistan’s construction materials industry was presented.

Such infrastructure is of great importance, as it creates broad opportunities for hosting sectoral exhibitions, presentations, and major business events in the country.
