A New $16 Million Aerated Concrete Plant Launched in Khorezm

In the city of Urgench, Arton Urgench Invest LLC has implemented a project to produce aerated concrete blocks using the autoclave method. The total value of the project amounts to $16 million, with a production capacity of 400,000 cubic meters of aerated concrete blocks per year. The technological equipment was imported from China, while the required raw materials — quartz sand, lime, cement, and gypsum — are supplied by local producers. The enterprise occupies nearly 5 hectares of land. The products manufactured here will be delivered to the Khorezm region and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

It is planned to export $3 million worth of products annually to Central Asian countries. With the launch of the project, 200 new jobs have been created for young people in Khorezm.

A ceremonial event was held to mark the start of the new plant’s operations, attended by the Hokim of Khorezm region, Jurabek Rakhimov, the leadership of the Uzpromstroy-materialy Association, veterans, and representatives of the wider public.

During the event, a press tour of the plant was organized for media and public representatives. Presentations highlighted the enterprise’s importance for the region’s industrial potential and the advantages of autoclaved aerated concrete. Foreign specialists also provided information on the latest energy-saving technologies.
