Bikrom

Bikrom is a high-quality product that allows you to make low-cost roofing. Using it does not require expensive equipment, whereas it is reliable enough. It is intended for installation and repair of roofs with a small slope, and for waterproofing of buildings and structures in cases where the level of reliability of walling system is not subject to stringent requirements.

ALES-POLIZOL SINTEZ LLC produces this material on the basis of glass fiber with non-woven fabric (Bikrom TF, Bikrom TK or Bikrom HP) or glass cloth with a fabric mesh (Bikrom HP) coated with plastic film (for waterproofing and lower layers of roofing carpet), or coated with foil or a coarse gray grit (for the upper roof membrane). Bitumen binder containing modified bitumen and filler is applied on substrate.

Bikrom is applied by melting its surface by burner flame in a single layer during reconditioning of old roofinh, and two layers during making new roof membrane, or overhaul. During melting, concentrated heating of fabric surface is prevented to avoid its inflammation. Only the surface is heated, preventing melting the entire thickness of waterproofing layer.

Bikrom is produced 1000 mm wide and to a length of 10 000 mm (with layer thickness of 2 mm – 15000 mm). It is used for laying roof in industrial and civil construction, repair of roofing of various buildings, and for waterproofing of bridge spans and engineering structures such as ventilation shafts, swimming pools and basements. Ideally suitable to the climatic conditions of Central Asia.
